Johnny Depp is set to be represented by Camille Vasquez for a second time.

Defendant attorney Camille Vasquez was first thrust into the public eye amid Johnny Depp's $50 million defamation lawsuit against his ex-wife Amber Heard.

On 1 June, the jury reached a verdict in favour of Depp and elevating Vasquez's status even further. She has since been promoted to firm partner at Brown Rudnick.

It has now been revealed that Vasquez is now set to return to court alongside Depp for a lawsuit he is embroiled in with a former colleague named Gregg 'Rocky' Brooks.

Brooks filed a Personal Injury lawsuit against the actor in Los Angeles County Superior Courts, Stanley Mosk Courthouse located in Los Angeles, California in 2018.

He has accused the Pirates of the Caribbean star of punching him twice in the rib cage in April 2017 while the pair were working together on the film set of the crime drama City of Lies.

Brooks alleges Depp also asked him to punch him back but in the face, supposedly offering him $100,000 to do so.

He also claimed the actor smelt of alcohol when they had a supposed run in over how long left they had to shoot a scene in downtown Los Angeles.

The location manager has accused Depp of 'inflicting emotional distress' on him.

Alongside Vasquez, Randall Smith will also act as a defendant attorney for Depp.

The defendants are listed as Depp, American production company Nihil Infinitum, film producer Miriam Segal, music video director Brad Furman and Good Films Productions US Inc.

The plaintiff attorney for Brooks is listed as Arbella Azizian from the Baker, Olson, LeCroy & Danielian law firm.

Holly J. Fujie is the presiding judge in the case.

Despite Depp's lawsuit with Brooks following soon after his defamation trial with Heard and the actor being represented by Vasquez for a second time, Brooks' lawyer, Pat Harris, has been clear in distinguishing the differences between the two cases.

He told The Sun: "Brooks' case is not about two Hollywood celebrities involved in a toxic relationship. It is about the assault of a hard-working film crew member by the star of the production. Mr Brooks looks forward to his day in court."

Brooks is seeking unspecified damages through the lawsuit.

Depp has argued the injuries Brooks incurred were because the location manager 'provoked' others.

He has stated that those who injured Brooks also did so in a manner of 'self defence/ defence of others'.

The trial is currently set to commence on 25 July.
