Sir Paul McCartney Reveals He Masturbated With John Lennon
We've all heard some crazy stories about the mad things The Beatles got up in their heyday - it was the 60s after all - but i don't think anyone was expecting Sir Paul McCartney to come out with this story.
In a recent GQ profile, the 76-year-old former Beatle recalled the time he masturbated with John Lennon, initially calling the incident 'a one-off', before quickly adding 'or maybe it was like a two-off'.
He said the event happened in their pre-fame days, on a day spent at Lennon's house with a group of friends.
He said: "We were all just in these chairs, and the lights were out, and somebody started masturbating, so we all did.
"We were just, 'Brigitte Bardot!' 'Whoo!' and then everyone would thrash a bit more."
At one point, Lennon was said to have ruined the mood by shouting the name of former Prime Minister Winston Churchill, and judging by the context you'd have to imagine that would've put most people present off their stride.
The things rock stars get up to, eh?
McCartney explained: "It wasn't a big thing. It was just the kind of thing you didn't think much of. It was just a group. Yeah, it's quite raunchy when you think about it... But it was good harmless fun. It didn't hurt anyone.
"It didn't hurt anyone. Not even Brigitte Bardot."
The details were mentioned in Lennon's biography but this is the first time Paul has discussed it.
Perhaps this is where the group got the inspiration for the song 'With A Little Help From My Friends' - who knows?
The news has certainly captured the imaginations of people on Twitter:
His admission might have caused a stir, but none quite so much as when the offspring of the two Beatles, Sean Ono Lennon and James McCartney, sent Instagram into a frenzy with a simple selfie.
Some fans were stunned by how similar they look to their respective parents - this surely can't be a shock though...? I mean, they are their sons.
One fan commented: "James looks like Paul, with his mother, Linda's hair color! Sean looks like John with a little of Yoko! Julian Lennon looks like John!" Well, everything seems to be in order here.
Another said: "This is probably the coolest photo ever. Incredible. Thank you."
And one person simply said: "Here Come the Sons..."
