Calling all adrenaline junkies – boy, oh boy, do we have the event for you!

If you’re the adventurous type then you’re probably already familiar with Red Bull events as the brand is, after all, the daddy of all extreme sports event organisers. It has really outdone itself however with its latest offering, a truly unique sprint obstacle race located right on our doorstep here in Ireland.

Red Bull Conquer The Cashel will take place on the gloriously sprawling farmland in Tipperary’s Golden Vale. Taking place over two days, Saturday May 28th and Sunday May 29th, the event will see competitors from aged 16 upwards battle it out to climb the Rock of Cashel in a spectacular but gruelling assault course made up of over 20 obstacles across a 2km distance.

What sort of obstacles might you be facing on a course that is self-described as ‘lung-busting’ you might wonder? We’re talking wall climbing, trench and tunnel crawling, balance beams, tyre pits, monkey bars and, of course, the classic – mud running.

It’s gonna be tough stuff, no doubt about it, but don’t let the challenge intimidate you – this event is for everyone, and it’s not just about winning when the course you’re attempting is located in such a breath-takingly beautiful location as this. Although, maybe wait til the end to take in the view – the last you need is to be any shorter of breath on this course!

For those who dare to take on Conquer The Cashel, you should know there are some serious prizes up for grabs. The winners (note we said winners, plural – we’ll get to that in a moment) will walk away with a sweet €1,000, whilst second and third place runners up will pocket €500 and €250 respectively. Not too shabby at all lads.

Which leads us to the best part – as the race will take place on two days, with both men’s and women’s winners crowned on both days, there’s ample opportunity to take the crown.

Registration for this epic, one of a kind event is open now on the official Red Bull website here. Tickets only cost €35.00, but the satisfaction of conquering a beast like this? Priceless.
