Dad With Tattooed Eyeballs And Fangs Shows What He Looked Like Before Ink

He is 98 percent covered in tattoos

A heavily tattooed dad, who has even got his eyeballs inked, has shared photos of himself before he had any work done.

Marcelo ‘B-boy’ De Souza Ribeiro, from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, has previously been hailed as the ‘most modified man in the world’ due to his abundance of tattoos and extreme body modifications including having some fanged metal teeth fitted and his tongue split.

The dad-of-two shows off his unique appearance to his 15,000 Instagram followers, but those who are used to seeing him covered in brightly coloured ink and gleaming fangs will most likely be shocked to see these throwback images which reveal a very different Marcel.

Marcelo has spent more than two decades on his tattoos and body modifications, and as well as covering his skin in ink.

Marcel also made the decision to have his eyeballs tattooed - a risky procedure which can lead to all kinds of nasty complications such as include vision loss or blindness, infection from the ink, sensitivity to light and even the potential loss of the eyeball.

Speaking last year, he said: "At the time I had it done, it did not hurt because of the anaesthesia but as soon as the anaesthesia wore off, it burned for a few days.

"I have over a thousand tattoos on my body and roughly 98 percent of my body is tattooed.

"The fanged teeth are nickel and cost around £2,014. I got them because I like vampires."

Marcelo added: "I have always liked to participate in everything that involved art since childhood.

"I think it encouraged me to be what I am now. I didn't create my appearance with the idea of looking like someone else."

Marcelo says his family, including his two kids, and friends are accepting of his look - and the reaction from the general public is largely positive.

He said: "I always get attention wherever I go and people are always curious to know if they are real.

"They take photos and make videos of me. People are delighted and surprised to see so many tattoos."

Marcelo describes his body as an 'exhibition of art' and when he's not getting himself transformed with ink and metal, he enjoys partaking in a hobby called body suspension, which involves rigging his body from metal hooks that have been placed through temporary holes in the skin.

Well, you didn't think his hobbies were going to be knitting and gardening, did you?
