Louisiana mother, 39, announces her own death in heartbreaking video

A mum and social media star announced her own death in a heartbreaking social media video in which she recognised she'd 'never grow old'.

TikTok user Andree Greig Baudoin, 39, who posted regular video updates of her health journey pre-recorded a final video to be shared in the event of her death.

The mum and influencer, who was fighting triple negative breast cancer died on 22 August at a hospice in Lafayette, Louisiana.

She had been updating her 42,000 followers on her treatment journey, describing herself in her bio as a 'warrior heart'. She went by the username @Andreethegirl.

Videos and pictures documented her diets and different medications to try and beat the cancer.

She had multiple tumours in her breast and had previously said that 'all of the chemotherapy, immunotherapy, and radiation have not successfully killed the cancer'.

In a post before her death, the mum went on to reveal hat her illness had deteriorated rapidly and that despite treatment there was 'just nothing we can do about it'.

"I just keep saying, like, how much longer, Lord?," she questioned.

"How much longer am I gonna have to suffer? I mean that I don't wanna lay here and just suffer in pain. I don't."

In Andree’s last video, posted after her tragic death, she said that TikTok had become her 'diary and way to let things out' during her treatment.

“Hi, my TikTok family. If you’re seeing this video, it just means that my time has come and I’ve crossed over," she said.

“This TikTok account has become my diary. It has become my way to let things out. It has become something I turned to first.

She continued: "I started it because I wanted my kids to be able to follow my journey.

"And for it to be able to be accessed at any time and all times if they wanted to see me or see a video of me.

"I want to just take a minute to say thank you for loving me, for praying for me, for rooting for me, even when I did all of the crazy things.

"I really wanted to be able to hang my hat at the end of the day and say, I have done every single thing possible that I could have done.

"The truth is, is I'm not scared of where I'm going. I'm not scared of passing away. I'm not fearful of that. But I am really devastated to leave my family.

"I'm really devastated that I have to go so early. I'm 39. I'll never be able to see my son get married, my daughter get married. I'll never be able to meet my grandchildren.

I'll never be able to grow old with my husband, who I love dearly."

Another post shared by her husband Rocky confirmed that she had passed away on Saturday as he thanked all her followers for their support throughout her cancer battle.

He wrote: "Hello Andree’s TikTok world. This is her husband Rocky. She passed away Saturday night.

"She wanted me to thank all of you from the bottom of her heart for all the love and support you’ve given her through this. Thank you all very much."
