Company Is Giving Someone $3,500 To Taste And Review Cheese For A Year

The cheese executive officer, will be sent monthly Whisps Cheese Crisps to enjoy and have deliveries of cheeseboards every quarter. They'll also receive training with expert cheesemongers and help the company come up with new ideas for snacks.

Not only that, they'll also be given some delicious cash money for their troubles. In exchange for the reviews, the jammy applicant will pick up a $1,500 (£1,200) stipend and $2,000 (£1,600 )in cash. They'll also get goodies and other prizes worth $1,500. Sounds pretty good, eh?

Last year's cheese executive officer Ilana said: "My whole life I've dreamed for a job that would pay me to eat cheese. So excited to pass along my dream to you.

"This will no doubt be a fun and delicious competition. Looking forward to seeing your applications and welcoming our new expert taster."

Unfortunately for my fellow Brits, the competition is only open to our friends in the US and applicants must be 21 or older.

As you can probably imagine, you'll need to be a big cheese fan, but there's no formal taste-testing training or experience or required.

To apply you'll need to answer a number of questions including: 'tell us more about your love of cheese - how does it appear in expected and unexpected parts of your life', 'if you were a cheese, what would you be and why' and 'what would you bring to the job that no one else would'.

You can also pick up some bonus points if you include a photograph or video of yourself that shows off your love of cheese.
