Get your Thanksgiving pants at the ready, as there's a Friends recipe book on its way - ready to teach you how to make everything from Joey's famous meatball sub through to, er, that infamous trifle of Rachel's.

Set to be released this September, Friends: The Official Cookbook features more than 70 recipes for you to try out at home, allowing you to pay tribute to your favourite characters as you PIVOOOOT around the kitchen to knock up a feast.

Published by Insight Editions, the 144-page book is ready to pre-order now via Amazon, where it's selling for £20.84 ($25.49).

The listing on Amazon reads: "Whether you're a seasoned chef like Monica Geller, just starting a catering business like Phoebe Buffay, or a regular old food enthusiast like Joey Tribbiani, Friends: The Official Cookbook offers a variety of recipes for chefs of all levels.

"From appetizers to main courses and from drinks to desserts, each chapter includes iconic treats such as Monica's Friendsgiving Feast, Rachel's Trifle, Just for Joey Fries, Chandler's 'Milk You Can Chew', Phoebe's Grandmother's Cookies, and of course, The Moist Maker.

"Complete with more than seventy recipes and beautiful full-color photography, this charming cookbook is both a helpful companion for home cooks and a fun homage to the show that's always been there for you."

Yup, you can even give the slightly dubious trifle a go if you're brave enough. After all, Joey ended up being a fan, saying in the series: "I mean, what's not to like? Custard, good. Jam, good. Meat, good."

A solid logic, if ever there was one - though if you can't quite stomach the idea of that, you can always go for something a little safer, by knocking up the meatball sub that proved so delicious that Joey saved it from a bullet.

There are drinks to wash all that down with, too, along with desserts for anyone who's still got room after tackling The Moist Maker or even a Friendsgiving Feast.

Either way, it should be plenty to keep you going while we wait for that highly anticipated Friends reunion, which has already started filming.

Friends: The Official Cookbook will be released on 22 September.
