You Can Now Buy Ben & Jerry's Snackable Cookie Dough Chunks In UK

Do you love Ben & Jerry's? Do you love 'snackable dough'?

Then good news, you can now buy Ben & Jerry's Snackable Cookie Dough Chunks in the UK.

Shoppers shared the good news on social media, sparking a good deal of excitement.

Until now the tempting treat pouches were an indulgence you could only enjoy on the other side of the Atlantic, but you can now get hold them in the frozen aisle at ASDA.

The bags are available at 278 stores around the country, but fear not if you are somehow not within driving distance of any of those stores - they will also be for sale online from tomorrow (Tuesday 28 January).

The treat packs weigh 170g and are priced at £3.99 ($5.21).

If you're one of those people who isolates your favourite bit of a food and eats just that - for example, chowing down on just the yolk of an egg or the top layer of lasagne - then these chunk packets could be perfect for you.

A description of them on the Ben & Jerry's website reads: "We've freed the chunks! We know how it goes: sometimes when you're digging in to a pint of ice cream you're really just chasing those chunks with reckless abandon. Go straight for the good stuff with a bag of totally snackable Cookie Dough Chunks!"

Reviews of the product on the B&J website have been very positive, with one person writing: "My dough craving was never quite satisfied as there was never enough dough in the ice cream and I was always left wanting more.

"The dough is exactly like what's in the ice cream pints, which is amaaaaazing! If you've always wanted more dough from the cookie dough ice cream, this is for you!"

Another said: "If I had a child, it would be in the form of these chunks."

Strange thing to say, that.

We've not quite caught up with the US yet though, as so far only the Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough flavour is on offer here. Meanwhile in the US of A, they also have Half Baked Dough, Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough, Peanut Butter Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough and the ridiculously-named Chocolate Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough to choose from.

Let's just hope for some sunshine first, though, before we start complaining about a lack of flavour options in the frozen chunk department.
