For someone like myself who doesn't drink - seeing the cost of a pint being cheaper than a bottle of Coke is making me, ever so slightly, rethink things.
One generous UK pub chain is celebrating their 177 year history by offering their customers a £1.77 pint for just one day only.
Fuller's are hosting their annual 'Get Together' next week across all of their pubs and have stressed that everyone's invited.
The tradition started back in 2018 and to celebrate their 177th birthday, they're giving customers a pretty special experience.
From pub quizzes, to live music and beer tasting, they are planning fun events that will be happening throughout the day on 15 November.
If you want to take part, you'll need to sign up to generate a code, which will get you up to three selected drinks for just £1.77 each.
The drinks available include a pint or half pint of the following:
- Fuller’s Frontier
- Session IPA
- London Pride
- Oliver’s Island
- Dark Star Hop Head
- Fuller’s or Dark Star Seasonal Ales
For non-beer drinkers, you can also get Cornish Orchards Cider (bottle or draught), 125ml or 175ml glass of house wine, or selected soft and hot drinks.
A statement from Fuller's reads: "Since 2018, the Fuller's Get Together has been a wonderful celebration of the role each of our pubs play at the heart of their communities for over 100 years.
"For 2022, we are celebrating our big 177th birthday!
"So, as ever, we'd like to invite you to your favourite Fuller's pub to celebrate and Get Together with friends, family and our teams."
