Donald Trump says he's 'happy' Prince Harry and Meghan Markle left the US in brutal admission
Donald Trump has given his verdict on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle returning to the UK after they announced their plans to uproot their lives in the US and make a come back with their two children.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex announced their move back to the UK recently where they plan to be non-working royals and live in a private residence rather than one of the family homes.
They're coming back for an 'extended period' and their children Archie, seven, and Lilibet, five, have been enrolled in school to start the new academic year this month.
King Charles is meant to be happy to see more of his son and have the chance to see his grandchildren more, while US President Donald Trump made it clear he's glad they're going.

Asked about it while at the White House, Trump said he was 'happy' to see them gone and said he 'would not have taken them back' if he was in charge of the royal family.
'I thought she was terribly disrespectful to the Queen'
"I’m happy about it. I was not a fan," Trump said in response to a question about the couple, before going on to talk about how much he liked Harry's dad and stepmum.
"I had a very good relationship with the Queen. Really good. I got to know her very well. A really good relationship with King Charles. I knew him as Prince Charles and King Charles.
"I’ve known him for a long time. He’s great, great guy. And I thought they treated the royal family with great disrespect. I didn’t like it. I didn’t like the way she acted. I thought she was terribly disrespectful to the Queen, to King Charles.
"I wouldn’t have taken them back. If I were in the royal family I would not have taken him back."
What are Harry and Meghan's plans for their return to the UK?
Since they announced their return various rumours have swirled around the family over what they'll do while back in Britain, as Meghan has been linked with a return to acting, but there's been nothing concrete just yet.
There have been many theories posited as to why they've decided to move back to the UK now, with it being suggested Harry missed the UK and wanted his kids to spend some of their time growing up in his home country.
Why are Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moving back to the UK?
Considering Prince Harry's previous statements on privacy and safety concerns for his family, many have been left pondering over exactly why he and Meghan have made the decision to move back from the US.
While the couple are yet to confirm the reason, ITV's royal editor Chris Shipp has outlined some theories.
Citing how Harry has missed living in the UK and has missed the connections and friends he has here, Shipp pointed out how Montecito in California - where the couple and their children have resided for a few years - is a very long way from home, both geographically and culturally.
"Neither Harry nor Meghan has enjoyed living in a country in which Donald Trump has been president, and where the partisan news coverage is very different to the way the media operates in Europe," he wrote.
Shipp also raised the question of security, and said he had 'heard some movement on the issue' - but it's unclear what plan is in place for Harry, Meghan and their family.
Previously, the government committee that decides security for high-profile royals and politicians used the Sussexes residency in California as one of the reasons for them not being granted taxpayer-funded security.
So moving back to the UK means that the Home Office committee, known as RAVEC, will have to reassess its previous decisions, according to Shipp.
