A recovering alcoholic has said there's something that '99 percent of people don't know about alcohol' in his quest to encourage people to drop the drink and bin the booze.
Corey Warren spent several stints in rehab before successfully going sober in 2011 and now he tries helping others walk that same path to ditch their addiction to alcohol.
He's got plenty of advice to share with people as he told folks they don't 'have to lose everything to be an alcoholic' as he warned that all it takes it to 'lose yourself'.

Corey advised that getting alcohol out of your life would help you 'better your life', and he has spoken about many aspects of drinking that are harmful.
In a recent video he brought up something he reckons '99 percent of people' wouldn't really think about while drinking.

"Let's say you have two people and both of them earn the same amount of money, but one of them drinks and one of them doesn't," he said.
"When you drink, you spend money on comfort. We buy food that we didn't plan on. We buy drinks that we didn't plan on and we'll buy anything if it makes us comfortable right now."

While many of us know that there are plenty of benefits to ditching the drink, including how it impacts our health, Corey has opened up about financial aspect of it.
"When we get sober, we pay for our future. We pay off our debt. We pay for time. We don't escape it. So, just because you're not broke doesn't mean you're not stuck.
"Two people, same pay check, same potential, two very different futures."
Experts have laid out some of the most common reasons people bring up so they don't have to stop drinking - and if someone is able to convince themselves to keep going, they can convince themselves to be unwise with money.

In some of his other advice to people Corey has said there's a sign for you to tell your drinking has gone beyond casual and that is getting blackout drunk.
He said: "Blacking out is what happens when my tolerance is so high that I drink past my body's limit and I don't even realise it. And that's not normal, that's not fun. That's my brain shutting down.
"So, if you've ever blacked out, even one time, that means your relationship with alcohol is way past casual. Blacking out is not fun, it's a warning."
