People have been left reeling over footage of a Karen's Diner waiter telling a customer they look 'bulimic'. Take a look at the shocking moment below:

While Karen's Diner sells itself on the basis of 'rude staff but great burgers,' it's the former, not the latter, which it's becoming more and more infamous for.

And no matter how amazing it's burgers are, they might not quite make up for some of the digs its staff have made at some unsuspecting customers.

The diner has previously had to apologise after one waiter called a customer a 'paedo,' and another customer left in tears after comments were made about her hair colour.

However, other members of staff clearly haven't learnt their lesson, as a TikToker has recently revealed a video which shows her being called 'bulimic' by one of the restaurant's waiters.

Australian influencer Cherry Hart took to TikTok to share the video of her experience when visiting one of Karen's Diner's chains in Brisbane, Australia.

Cherry Hart was called 'bulimic' after she ordered a waffle bowl and cocktail.

In the post, the waiter can be seen sat down at Hart's table, taking her order of a Karen's Seasonal Waffle Bowl and the Nutty Karen cocktail.

In response to Cherry's order, the waiter states: "You do realise that dessert is f**king huge. I doubt you're going to eat it. You look like you're bulimic."

Cherry then descends into 'uncomfy awkward laugh[ter]' to which the waiter says: "You're laughing so I must be right".

The post has since amassed over 200,000 views, with other TikTokers having flooded to the video in outrage over the waiter's comments.

One said: "That is way out of line I’m so sorry."

"Oh Jesus that’s not ok, as someone who sufferers with an ED it’s hard enough for me to eat on a night out, so this would upset me so much," another wrote.

A third commented: "This would break me. I’ve never had bulimia but I struggled with anorexia for so many years. I thought they weren’t allowed to make body comments?"

While some users argued they thought it was 'the whole point of the restaurant' to be 'rude' to customers, Karen's Diner does have a set of rules which the waiter definitely broke.

Within its five 'house rules,' one clearly states that there should be 'no body shaming' at the diner.

Cherry reflected that she hadn't even realised at the time what a 'big deal' the waiter's comments were. However, when she realised the diner has a rule not to body shame anyone, that's when she decided to share the footage and raise awareness of the incident.

LADbible has contacted Karen's Diner and Cherry for comment.
