A Melbourne cafe is calling on patrons with an insatiable hunger and a bottomless stomach to get in on their latest challenge.

Judging by the snaps, the BBQ Kitchen Sink Challenge is certainly not for the faint-hearted.

The Third Wave Cafe, located in Albert Park posted the gargantuan feast to their Instagram page, which apparently includes a whole chicken, wings, fries, and more.

It's conveniently served up in a sink, of course.

If anyone game enough to take on the stomach-exploding smorgasbord alongside a friend and clear their dish (or sink, rather) within 15 minutes will get their meal free of charge.

The caption alongside the picture of the huge meal reads: "Who reckons they can finish the BBQ KITCHEN SINK CHALLENGE in 15 minutes?"

They continued to explain that the BBQ Kitchen Sink Challenge contains a whole slow-smoked chicken, two smoked beef ribs, twelve wings, three sliders, a bucket of slaw, mac and cheese, rotator fries and pickles.

They also revealed that the meal weighs 'a total of about 4kg to 5kg of food', which has our stomachs wincing just thinking about it.

The comment section has since been flooded with game foodies ready to take on the meaty beast, with one Facebook user tagging a friend while teasing: "You like an eating challenge. I would suggest that no, you could not finish this though."

Others were more confident in their ability to take on the challenge, with another tagging a mate while declaring: "Could easily be done".

But that's not the only monster meal available at the cafe this month.

The restaurant also offers an equally awe-inspiring mountain of food they call a meal, which has been dubbed 'Cheeseageddon Nachos'.

According to their website, the special is described as 'a tower of corn chips with cascading cheese'.

"You get a huge board with a central corn chip tower surrounded by Loaded Nachos. The tower is built with corn chips, cheese and pulled pork.

"Then more cheese with bacon floss is added to give you a cascade effect at the table. Surrounding nachos are loaded with slow-smoked brisket, chicken and cheese sauce.

"Served with salsa, guac, sour cream and house-made hot sauce. Topped with Oink Balls and Candy Bacon. Enough for 2 to 3 people. Watch the cheese topped with bacon floss cascade down the tower."

Which basically sounds like a mouth-watering heart attack waiting to happen.

Both the BBQ Kitchen Sink Challenge and the Cheeseageddon Nachos are only available for the month of April, so if you're game enough to take on either, get your hungry butt into Third Way Cafe ASAP.
