Bundaberg Rum Is Releasing A Limited-Edition Pre-Mixed Alcoholic Creaming Soda

Everyone knows rum and cola is one of your tastebud's favourite concoctions. For whatever reason, it just goes perfectly together.

But there is a new mixer that is entering the game for a short period of time and it will no doubt divide the masses.

Bundaberg Rum is releasing a limited-edition, NRL-inspired creaming soda that is paired with its iconic rum.

7News posted a picture of the can that pays homage to the Queensland Maroons ahead of State of Origin later this year.

The cans will sadly only be available in the Sunshine State, meaning you'll have to fly or drive across state borders to get your grubby mitts on them if you live outside Queensland.

Opinion was definitely split on the new pre-mixed alcoholic drink, with some saying they reckon it would be bloody delicious and others dry retching at the thought of it.

One person wrote: "I can't stand rum, but I kind of want to try this."

Another added: "Yep can't wait to give it a go."

A third said: "I will give up sobriety for this."

It's unclear how much a pack or case of these bad boys will set you back but it's undeniable that people are pretty keen to try it out.

Bundy also hasn't revealed how long they will be sticking around. For those who are keen on them, if there is enough demand then, who knows, they might make them permanent.

The company brought out Bundaberg Rum and sarsaparilla in September last year and it was again met with a divided audience.

Bundy released a statement, saying: "It's getting to the pointy end of the footy season after a year of so many ups and downs, on so many fronts.

"To make sure we finish the season on a very delicious up, the team at Bundaberg Distillery decided to launch a limited edition Bundaberg Original Up Rum and Sarsaparilla, just in time for footy finals and State of Origin!"

They sold for $27.99 for a six-pack, so you can probably bet the same price will apply to the new Bundy Creaming Soda.
