Controversial Aussie comedian Alex 'Shooter' Williamson has been belted in the face during a live set.
The funnyman regularly welcomes people to heckle him during his shows, however the one in Rockhampton, Queensland this week certainly escalated.

The heckler 'incessantly' yelled out to Shooter during his set until the comedian asked him to stop otherwise the bloke would be chucked out.
"He just would not stop yelling and I, for the first five times in a row, just took it," he said on an Instagram story. "And then I was like 'nah you're going to have to be quiet now, I'm gonna ask you to leave'."
When Williamson looked for security to help him with the problematic audience member, he said the heckler yelled out a 'Michael Scott' from The Office level 'that's what your mum said' comment.
Despite the lame comeback, Alex simply poured his beer on the man's head and tried to continue with the stand up routine.

He noticed the man, red-hot with anger, get up from his seat and approach the stage.
"And that's when he comes up on stage and I thought 'oh he's just gonna pour his beer back on my head, that's only fair'.
"So, I offered the mic as kind of a ... peace offering like there's the mic you wanted to say something so bad you lame c**t there you go.
"I figured if he was going to try and pour his beer on my head I was going to try and drink it as he poured but he went with the cheeky left and the c**t got me."

A couple of blokes jumped onto the stage to escort the heckler out and Williamson was seemingly unfazed by the punch.
Alex uploaded an Instagram story showing the bruising he copped as a result of the jab to the face.
He's now wondering who the 'final boss' will be on the rest of his Aussie tour, thinking someone in Townsville or Cairns will deck him harder than the bloke in Rockhampton.

It's not the first time Williamson has courted controversy on the stage.
He grabbed nationwide attention when he had a particularly violent and heated battle with a heckler on stage in Adelaide last year.
One person threw a beer bottle at him and after Alex said he was glad the heckler's parents were dead.
Posting on Instagram, Williamson said he dodged those projectiles like Neo in The Matrix and added that doing comedy at the moment feels like an 'extreme sport'.
