Krispy Kreme Australia Has Teamed Up With Pokémon For New Doughnuts

Krispy Kreme Australia has teamed up with Pokémon to bring out a range of delicious new doughnuts.

The new desserts go live across the country from today (September 7) and you can grab a variety of Pokémon-themed treats.

You'll be able to buy one with Pikachu on it, as well as Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle and the iconic Poké Ball.

Each of the doughnuts will be released every two weeks across participating stores, online and via Click and Collect at Krispy Kreme Australia or via home delivery services like Deliveroo, UberEATS or Menulog.

But if one of these bad boys isn't enough to satisfy your Pokémon-themed sweet tooth then Krispy Kreme has just the trick.

You will be able to buy a pack dozen doughnuts online for $29.95 and that will feature Poké Ball, Bulbasaur, Charmander and Squirtle doughnuts, two Pikachu doughnuts and six of Krispy Kreme's famous Original Glazed doughnuts.

Olivia Sutherland, Marketing Director at Krispy Kreme Australia said in a statement: "Pokémon is a pop culture mainstay that defies generations, much like our iconic Krispy Kreme doughnuts.

"We hope this sweet doughnut range brings back fond memories and re-ignites a love of the simple joys in life."

The Poké Ball is an Original Glazed doughnut that is dipped in white truffle, with red sprinkles, finished with a Poké Ball white chocolate plaque.

The Pikachu one is a signature shell doughnut filled with chocolate crème, dipped in white truffle, finished with a Pikachu white choc plaque.

The Bulbasaur doughnut has an Original Glazed doughnut base that is dipped in green apple icing finished with sand sugar, a crème swirl and a Bulbasaur white choc plaque.

Charmander and Squirtle's doughnuts are the signature shell ones that are filled with custard and strawberry-flavoured filling respectively, and topped with their character's plaque with white chocolate.
