Liz Hurley addresses claim she took Prince Harry's virginity

Model and actor Elizabeth Hurley has denied claims that she took Prince Harry's virginity when he was a teenager.

Model and actor Elizabeth Hurley has addressed rumours that she took Prince Harry's virginity when he was a teenager.

Hurley has denied claims she slept with the Duke of Sussex as the prince looks set to reveal some bombshells in his new memoir, Spare.

According to The Times, Prince Harry is said to be unveiling details of his encounter with a 'beautiful older woman in the countryside' taking his virginity.

But speaking to the paper, Hurley laughed off suggestions that it was her.

She said: "Not me. Not guilty. Ha!"

Hurley added: "No. Not me. Absolutely not."

Funnily enough, Harry's wife Meghan Markle previously wrote about having a 'girl crush' on Hurley on her blog in 2015.

This was, of course, before she met Harry, and she admitted that her fondness for Hurley came from the model's famous appearance in a Versace dress that was held together by gold safety pins.

The appearance attracted widespread media attention on Hurley, who was not a recognised actor at the time.

Prince Harry's new book, Spare, is due for release on 10 January 2013, and is set to tell never-before-heard stories.

Spare is described as a book full of 'raw, unflinching honesty', as Harry tells the story of the many years of grief following his mother Princess Diana's death in 1997.

The book was originally due out this autumn, but was postponed until next year as a mark of respect following the death of Queen Elizabeth II in September.

Harry will include a small mention in the memoir that it was written before Her Majesty's death.

But, following Harry and Meghan's bombshells since they left the royal family in an official capacity, Buckingham Palace is said to be bracing itself, as Harry looks set to reveal the traumatic events of his childhood.

In a press release advertising the memoir, the book's publisher, Penguin Random House, said: "Spare takes readers immediately back to one of the most searing images of the 20th century: two young boys, two princes, walking behind their mother’s coffin as the world watched in sorrow – and horror.

"As Diana, Princess of Wales, was laid to rest, billions wondered what the princes must be thinking and feeling – and how their lives would play out from that point on.

"For Harry, this is his story at last.

"With its raw, unflinching honesty, Spare is a landmark publication full of insight, revelation, self-examination, and hard-won wisdom about the eternal power of love over grief."
