When you're dating someone new, it can be easy to misread the signals and come across a bit eager. Just like this guy did below:

A woman by the name of Nicole recently matched with a guy on Bumble.

After seemingly hitting it off, the pair exchanged numbers, with the idea being that they would meet up for a date.

At least, that's what Nicole thought.

But things quickly took a turn when the guy tried to take things to the next level, despite the fact they had never met each other.

Rather than waiting to see how things go after a few dates, he went straight in with asking Nicole to move in with him.

Nicole shared the bizarre story to her TikTok channel, posting a screengrab of the opening text message she received from her match.

It read: "This may sound silly since we haven't met yet but you seem chill enough over text and God you're sexy af.

"If the ~ vibes ~ between us are fun, would you be open to moving in with me?

"I'm in a two bedroom apartment so you'd have your own room..."

Unsurprisingly, the proposition did not go down quite as well as he was expecting.

In the video, Nicole says: "Sir, are you well? In what world would I say yes to this?

"Is my Bumble profile giving off vibes that I need a home to live in or that I would say yes to this? Because if so, that would explain a lot about why I don't have enough dates..."

Since the video was shared, it has been viewed more than 33,000 times, with dozens piling into the comments to share their utter disbelief at the guy's approach.

One user wrote: "I think he got Bumble confused with Craigslist, he's clearly looking for a roommate not a date."

Another chimed in: "I think he proposes on the second date. So cute. Wow."

"Lmao that's too much," put a third.

While another added: "I'm losing hope each and every damn day."
