A woman has shown off the £58,000 ($78,000) Mercedes her husband bought her for giving birth, which I reckon probably goes a long way to making up for the morning sickness and swollen ankles. You can see the flash motor here:

Kaylie Mackenzie shared a clip to TikTok showing the smart black Mercedes AMG GLE53 Coupe with a huge red bow on the front, explaining that her husband had splashed out on the car as a ‘push present’.

A push present is a present a partner gives to the mother after giving birth - they’re fairly common in the US and growing in popularity here in the UK.

Though in Kaylie's case, her hubby presented her with the car the day before she gave birth.

Uploading the clip, Kaylie wrote: “Push present from my hubby.”

Replying to a comment, she added: "He custom ordered it 9 months ago & it was barely ready a few weeks ago."

As you can imagine, the extravagant gift pulled in a lot of attention on TikTok, with one follower replying: “This TikTok basically said, ‘raise your standards’ lmao.”

Someone else joked: “All my husband ever gives me is a headache.”

A third person commented: “I ain’t get nothing but some stitches with a side of complaining all the damn time.”

While another wrote: “How does it feel to live my dream?”

In an earlier clip Kaylie revealed she got pregnant just two months after they started dating, but explained that prior to their relationship she had known him for ‘years’.

In other baby-related news, a pregnant woman claimed her name choice for her unborn son was causing serious problems between her and her husband.

Now, in a world where at least one parent has named their kid Thanos in the last year, you’d be mistaken for thinking that this kid’s mum went completely out there with the choice, right?

But you’d be wrong - as the name that’s caused so much grief is… Brian. Yep, Brian.

The woman explained that she told her boyfriend a few months into their relationship that should she ever have a son she would want him to be named Brian after her late father.

But while he agreed at the time, once she actually got pregnant with her son he changed his mind and he’d even called in his family to try and encourage her not to name the baby Brian.

Posting her dilemma on Reddit, most people sided with her - even when they weren’t particularly keen on the name - and said her husband ought to keep his promise.
