A man found a mysterious wooden box hiding inside a wall of his home with ‘do not release’ carved into it. Watch the clip below to see what happened next:

TikTok account @geebeetv documents one couple’s home renovation project in Wales – and it appears they’ve found some pretty spooky stuff already.

During one video, the guy explains he was attempting to plug the gaps of a wall in his attic when something mysterious caught his eye.

The video pans to a wooden box with a pentagram on one side and the words ‘peidiwch ar ryddhau’ carved into the top, which can roughly be translated from Welsh to mean ‘do not release’.

The couple were encouraged to continue their spooky series after racking up 25 million views.

In a further video, they told their followers they had found a mirror that ‘rattled’, despite the edges being sealed shut.

After smashing the glass with a hammer – and ignoring the seven years of bad luck – they found a key.

Finally, they were able to open the box, despite many TikTokers warning them to leave it alone.

The couple found some ‘really strange’ objects lurking inside, such as a small pendant necklace and a burned piece of a Ouija board.

And it gets weirder – a lock of hair and a second key were also hiding inside the box.

Of course, this prompts the question, if there is a second key, where is the second box?

In a video posted yesterday (6 March), the couple updated their followers with the news that a second box covered in wax had been discovered.

The second key appeared to fit the hole perfectly however, due to a build-up of wax, they were not able to open the box.

In a further attempt to get it open, the couple brought in the heavy-duty tools, but teased their followers by ending the video there.

Thousands of people commented on the various clips, with some calling the videos staged, while others are terrified by what they’ve seen.

One person said: “This is literally the plot to 99% of horror movies.”

Another said: “I would say breaking a mirror gives you 7 years of bad luck but I think that’s the least of your worries at this point.”

“Literally translates to ‘don’t release’ PUT IT BACCCCKKK,” a third added.

A fourth joked: “Now would be a good time to burn the whole house down.”
