It's hard to keep up (if you'll pardon the pun) with all the new sex trends going on at the moment, with people regularly trying out new positions and partners in the bedroom.
Perhaps fuelled by celebrities who are more open than ever with the media, the world is arguably the most sex positive it's ever been, even if the younger folks are bringing down the average numbers somewhat.
It's also arguably the growth in online sex sites and pornography that means that when it comes to getting down and dirty, a lot of men actually have no idea what they're doing, since porn rarely gives you a realistic insight into what women actually want.
So, if you didn't already know, it turns out that millions of women are into one very specific kink... but don't worry, it doesn't involve anything strange like the sort of stuff you might have seen Sydney Sweeney do in the latest series of Euphoria.

It turns out that, very simply, a lot of women simply want to receive praise in the bedroom, or even just in general life if that's what floats their boat.
'Who doesn't love being told that they're beautiful or hot or amazing in some way?'
Sex professor Dr Nicole K McNichols explained that the kink doesn't even require any sort of physical touch, saying on TikTok: "People who have praise kinks get turned on by their partner complimenting them during sex.
"Praise kink exists on a continuum of course, because, I mean, who doesn't love being told that they're beautiful or hot or amazing in some way?"
'Self-centred, slightly narcissistic, and probably a bit shameless'
Data columnist Jana Hocking is also on board with the bedroom trend, because frankly who doesn't like getting a little praise when they're doing a good job?
For the Daily Mail, she admitted that 'it's horrendously self-centred, slightly narcissistic, and probably a bit shameless to admit to'.

However, she's 'very much on board with it', adding: "It has had a whopping 60 million views on TikTok so clearly I'm not the only one lapping it up."
She continued: "The kink involves people who get off on hearing how wonderful they are (especially in the bedroom).
"So if you are like me and you go a bit wild when your fella calls you a 'good girl' while getting it on between the sheets... welcome, you are part of the 'praise kink' tribe.
Another TikToker said: "So I've been seeing that it's been trending on TikTok that... a lot of girls are realising that they have a praise kink.
"Just to let you know, if you have a praise kink, you probably have words of affirmation in your top two love languages."
So, the next time you're in the bedroom and everyone's having a good time, don't be afraid to shout it from the rooftops fellas, because your partner might just like you a little more for it.
