Two men were rushed to hospital following the shocking incident

Footage shared online shows the terrifying moment a giant screen fell from the ceiling during a concert. Watch it below:

The terrifying moment was captured during a performance by Canto-pop band Mirror at Hong Kong Coliseum in Hung Hom tonight (28 July).

In the short clip, which was posted to Twitter, a number of large screens can be seen hanging above the stage as the group perform below.

However, as the song goes on, one of the screens suddenly detaches from its wire and falls to the floor, landing on a performer.

Fellow dancers then rush to their aid and the concert is immediately brought to a halt.

According to police, at least two to three people were injured during the shocking incident, with two male dancers sent to Queen Elizabeth Hospital for treatment.

Local news reported that the hospital confirmed one man had suffered a neck injury and was in a serious condition, while another was in a stable condition after a head injury.

The screen landed on one of the performers during the concert.

One of the fans said they were in a state of shock at the time.

They said: "Everything happened very quickly and everyone needed a few moments to understand what had happened."

Others have shared messages of support for the band on social media.

"Pray for the dancers," wrote one.

While another added: "Pray for the dancers. Stay strong."

This is the latest in a series of incidents to have plagued the group's recent performances.

Earlier this week, one of the band-members, Frankie Chan, fell from the stage, revealing later that night that he had suffered some bruising to his arm.

Other footage captured by fans appeared to show unsteady walkways, which were shaking beneath the weight of the band.

As a result, a petition was set up demanding that the organisers improved the level of safety during the concerts.

Since it was started, more than 12,000 people have signed their names to it.
