Aldi Is Bringing Back Its Inflatable Kayak

Aldi Is Bringing Back Its Inflatable Kayak

Get yourself down to the Specialbuys aisle this month

The much sought-after deals on the Aldi Specialbuys aisle have become even more vital this summer, as we face up to the fact that it's unlikely many of us will be going abroad in 2021.

Luckily, Aldi has taken full advantage of the fact that most Britons will be going on domestic holidays this year, and so has brought back some of its most popular Specialbuy items - you know, the ones that inevitably become as rare as hen's teeth after being immediately snapped up.

The latest item to make a grand comeback is the previously sold out inflatable kayak - and its accompanying inflatable boat!

That's right, from July 4 you can find your own independence in the water for less than forty quid.

The Crane Inflatable Kayak and Crane Inflatable Boat will both be available online from that date, and will be popping up in that fabled Specialbuys aisle a week later UK-wide at selected stores on 11 July.

'But how much will it cost?' I hear you ask. Well, the kayak is priced at just £39.99 and, according to the blurb, is ideal for two adults.

It comes with a double paddle, a waterproof storage bag and match bag - which the store says is 'perfect for sharing adventures with a loved one'.

If you're looking to take the family on the waves, though, you might want something bigger - which is where the Crane Inflatable Family Boat and Crane Inflatable Sports Boat come in handy.

Also priced £39.99, but available online only from 4 July, both options come complete with paddles and a repair kit. The Family Boat can apparently take up to three adults, while the Sports Boat is capable of taking two adults and one child.

It's not quite relaxing on a Mediterranean beach with a cocktail in hand, but we've got to admit an activity holiday with these vessels seems pretty appealing.

Of course, one of the biggest blows in not getting to go on holiday abroad - aside from the weather - is missing out on all the great food.

OK, it may be more fast-food than fancy dining, but Aldi has got you covered there after recently unveiling a McDonald's-inspired range of food.

Yep, that's right.

The supermarket is stocking a range of McDonald's-esque products, including chicken nuggets with sauce and a Big Mac-style 'Big Stack Burger'.

The highlight is the burger. Bargain hunters are able to get their hands on the Snacksters Big Stack Burger, which features two lean beef burgers, fresh crispy lettuce and creamy, flavoursome cheese served in a sesame seed bun for just £1.49.

For those keeping score, a Big Mac will set you back £3.29.

Staying at home for the summer might be lacking in some things, but at least it's good for your wallet.
