A 20-year-old American guy has been arrested on suspicion of using a fake ID with the name 'McLovin' to get into an Iowa bar. Have I heard this somewhere bef... nah.
Daniel Alfredo Burleson was arrested on Friday evening after he was spotted clutching an alcoholic drink in a local boozer, according to FOX.
When he was confronted by police, it is claimed he admitted to drinking vodka, but didn't provide his ID so he was removed from the bar and eventually ended up handing over the document which showed he was underage.

He was then asked to show his fake ID, but he denied having one. However, when Burleson was flipping through his wallet, the cops spotted a Hawaiian ID card featuring the name 'McLovin' with the date of birth as 3 June 1981.
Yep, that's right, Burleson had in fact purchased a replica of the fake ID used by Fogell (played by Christopher Mintz-Plasse) in 2007 hit film Superbad.
According to FOX, authorities claim that Burleson 'smelled strongly of ingested alcohol and had slurred speech and bloodshot watery eyes'. He was also wearing a wristband from the bar, police said.

It is believed that he was taken to custody on suspicion of possession of a fictitious licence, unlawfully possessing alcohol, public intoxication and being under the legal age in a bar.
Burleson, who is from Des Moines, Iowa, was approached by the officer at around 12.30am on Friday, 11 October 2019.
KCRG reported that Burleson was initially taken to Johnson County Jail, but was released and is scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on the possession of a fictitious ID charge on 21 October.
Someone else brave enough to buy one of the most unconvincing fake IDs ever is the person who tried to get away with using one belonging to Thor. Yes, Thor - the fictional superhero.

This person tried to pass off as the Norse God of Thunder himself when they went to buy weed from an online dispensary in Canada. It goes without saying, but... don't try this at home.
The dispensary workers noticed that the document looked a little too familiar, before realising the photo on that ID was actually a picture of the Marvel superhero - or, more precisely, the actor Chris Hemsworth, who plays the character. What are the chances, eh?
