People Left Baffled By Bizarre Man Or Dog Optical Illusion

The image shows what appears to be a figure walking into some incredibly snowy looking woods. So far so normal. Or is it?

The picture has stunned thousands of people, who have begun hotly debating what you can actually see in the picture. Some viewers believe it to show a small figure heading into the woods wearing a backpack - in fact, I'm not going to lie, that was my initial impression.

However, on closer inspection, it is clear the picture actually depicts a black poodle running towards the camera. Of course it is. The thing that seems to be throwing everyone is the dog's tail, which appears at first glance to be the back of a person's head.

The furore surrounding the image has raged wildly, with one person commenting: "I had to take my glasses off to see that one."

Another person agreed with them, saying: "I had to stare at it before I could see it".

It was too much for a third person, who admitted: "I almost gave up."

Many Facebook users seemed to realise their mistake after analysing the photo (myself included) and eventually worked out what it was.

"Took me a while to figure this one out," one person commented.

Some, though, claimed they'd spotted the pooch immediately. They're surely lying.

"Why can't I see the man? I only see the dog" wrote one user.

They were backed up by others, with one person saying: "I'm curious as to how the people who saw a man running were able to explain away the fact that running man has a giant dog's head coming out of them."

"This is ridiculous, all most people can see is a dog," another person agreed.

Another really stuck the knife in those of us who apparently saw something else. "The only way this is a man is if he has weird poodle hair or hat and is wearing a dog jumpsuit with weird paws attached and a £D dog face image on his back.

"So no, it's not an optical illusion unless you're on drugs."

I'd like to clarify that I am not on drugs.

On the other side of the fence, though, one person remained unconvinced by the image and insisted it was, in fact, a man - even after thousands of posts suggested the opposite.

They said: "It's a guy in a sick jacket and hat running into the woods. I can tell by the gait that it's a person."

Truly, they may be the most enlightened of us all.
