Matthew McConaughey has been praised for his 'class' gesture to Prince William and Kate Middleton at Wimbledon.
The royals watched as Jannik Sinner became the first Italian man to win a Wimbledon singles title, coming back to beat Spaniard Carlos Alcaraz.
William and Kate were among the countless A-list spectators from Nicole Kidman to Paul Mescal, and of course McConaughey.

The Oscar winner was sitting behind the royal couple who attended the match with Prince George and Princess Charlotte.
After the game finished, Sinner described meeting the royals as 'amazing', and in return, signed tennis balls for the children.
"I’ve been lucky to meet her (Kate) and the whole family, and it was a very nice moment," he said.
Over on X, however, eagle-eyed fans have been looking at how McConaughey reacted to William and Kate arriving at their seats.
Watch below:
The American actor was lauded as a 'lovely southern gentlemen' as a video shared by Wimbledon shows him standing up when the royals arrived into their box.
Interpreted as a sign of respect to bow to the royals as an English person, Americans aren't required to do so.

Commenting on the clip, one person said: "Matthew McConaughey standing to applaud the Prince & Princess of Wales. What a lovely southern gentleman."
A second viewer said the film star had 'real class', as a third called him 'the coolest man to ever live'.
"Matthew was raised right. Always something I have always admired," added a fourth.

It comes after Kate presented the trophy on Centre Court to Sinner after giving the runner-up prize to Alcaraz.

A spectator shouted 'I love you Kate' as the princess walked onto court, as she made conversation with the ball boys and girls as she made her way towards the trophy presentation.
Before she entered Centre Court, the royals met up with Ambrose Caldecott, 11, who has had chemotherapy treatment over the last year and was chosen to perform the ceremonial coin toss prior to the final.
Ambrose, who was diagnosed with bone cancer in March 2024, told Kate about his experiences, to which she replied: "What a brave boy you’ve been.
"Good luck today, we’ll be cheering you on."
The princess, who announced her cancer diagnosis in 2024, said she was free from the disease at the start of this year.

"We spoke about tennis, our favourite sports, what I went through last year and how it affected me," Ambrose said.
"She said she knew from her experience in my situation."
