Ozzy Osbourne has revealed that life with Parkinson’s Disease is utter 'agony'.

The former Black Sabbath frontman first revealed his battle with the degenerative neurological disorder back in 2020, and was diagnosed with a 'mild' form of the condition in 2003.

In a chat with The Guardian, the heavy metal singer revealed he has since suffered from crippling nerve pain, blood clots, and depression following his diagnosis.

"Nothing really felt great. Nothing," he told The Guardian of his battle with depression. "So I went on these antidepressants, and they work OK."

The Prince of Darkness also revealed that his neurological disorder, which frays at the nerves by reducing function and eventually immobilises the limbs, is starting to hit hard.

"You think you’re lifting your feet, but your foot doesn’t move. I feel like I’m walking around in lead boots," he told The Guardian.

To make matters worse, Osbourne underwent surgery in June to remove two metal plates from his spine after the screws holding them came loose and started to chip the bone around them.

"With the pressing on the spinal column, I got nerve pain. I’d never f**king heard of nerve pain!" Osbourne said, as per The Guardian.

"You know when you’re a kid, and you’re playing with snow and your hands get really cold? Then you go in and you pour on hot water, and they start getting warm? And you get those chills? And it f**king hurts? It’s like that."

"It got so bad that at one point I thought: 'Oh God, please don’t let me wake up tomorrow morning.'Because it was f**kng agony."

Ozzy's revelation comes shortly after the British singer confirmed that he will move back to the UK because he does not want to die in the US.

Ozzy and his wife Sharon Osbourne will relocate to the UK in February next year.

The 73-year-old has lived in Beverly Hills with Sharon and their three children for more than 25 years.

Despite Ozzy's diminishing condition, the Osbourne family is adamant that they are not relocating due to their patriarch's health.

"I knew people would think that. It’s not. It’s just time," his wife Sharon said, as per The Observer.

"America has changed so drastically. It isn’t the United States of America at all. Nothing’s united about it. It’s a very weird place to live right now."

Parkinson's Disease is a disorder of the nervous system that damages cells and causes uncontrollable movements, such as shaking, stiffness, and difficulty with balance and coordination.
