Pamela Anderson has responded after Tim Allen denied flashing her.

The pair worked together on '90s sitcom Home Improvement, and in her new memoir Love, Pamela, she alleged that the show's star Allen flashed her in 1991 - when he was 37 and she was 23.

Allen has since denied that it ever happened, which has come as no surprise to Anderson.

In a new interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, the 55-year-old said: "He has to deny it, because look at the times we're in.

"If he said, 'Oh yeah, I did that…' he'd be... I mean, a lot of these stories are just the tip of the iceberg."

Recounting what happened, she said: "It was my first day of filming and I was in my dressing room, and I came out, and then he came out of his dressing room and he had his robe on and he goes [flash], and he closed it and he goes, 'Now we're even, I've seen you naked and you've seen me naked, now we can start the show.'"

Allen denied the allegation.

Allen would presumably have been referring to Anderson posing for Playboy; however, he has denied that it ever happened.

In a statement shared with Variety, the 69-year-old said: "No, it never happened. I would never do such a thing."

But Anderson insisted it was not a story she would make up.

"How could you make that up?" Anderson argued.

"He ran back into his room and then he was embarrassed all day and acting like a little giddy school boy.

"You can't make that stuff up."

Allen said Anderson was a 'great co-worker'.

Allen was asked by DailyMail.com what he made of Anderson's account in her memoir, and he said: "She was a great co-worker, I'll tell you that. She's a fun girl.

"Everybody loved her, but everybody at ABC is a little disappointed in her… memory, put it that way. All of us at Disney/ABC, really."

He added: "She's a good girl."

Anderson has said that writing her memoir has been a 'therapeutic' process and she hopes it will show readers that they can overcome hardships in life.

"I'm just letting people know that you can get through all these things and paint the picture of your own life and happiness is a choice," she said on The One Show.

"I just felt like there's no reason to be bitter or sad because then the perpetrators and people in your life, then they win."
