Icon Snoop Dogg has revealed that he has a high IQ that is so rare, it classes him as an actual genius. But did you really ever doubt it?

Back in 2020, the rapper, 51, confirmed speculation regarding how high his intelligence quotient (IQ) really was.

Interestingly, according to the 2019 Intelligence of the Nations report, the average IQ in the United States is 97.43. However, the average is between 85 and 115.

A 2010 study found that the global sample average was lower at 89. This can be attributed to IQs varying between countries, states, and geographical regions.

Psych Central say that anyone who has an IQ score of above 130 is “very superior” — which is exactly what Snoop is.

Regarding his IQ, Snoop took to Instagram to repost a graphic made by RapTV Zone. The post reads, ‘Snoop Dogg has an IQ level of 147 that is thought to be extremely high and that of a gifted genius.’

Following the post, the Gin and Juice star then added a string of emojis into the caption. These included a shrug, a shout and a fist.

When questioned about his abnormally high IQ, Snoop simply said, ‘I’m really brilliant.’

Of course, with 19 studio albums, an over-flowing IMBD profile, and investments in the likes of Tidal, venture capital firm Casa Verde Capital and California-based marijuana delivery company, Eaze — it’s no surprise that Snoop has an IQ this high.

In 2022, Snoop further proved he’s an entrepreneurial genius by adding wine merchant to his CV. This came with the release of his Cali Red label.

Aimed at “non-traditional” wine drinkers, Cali by Snoop is ‘wine with Cali Soul’. At this moment in time, the brand offers three alcoholic beverages — Cali red wine, Cali white wine and Cali rosé wine.

About the venture, Snoop said that stepping into the wine business wasn’t necessarily natural.

“I didn’t grow up a wine drinker. Wine was foreign to me in my neighbourhood, but I love it now and the community, so I wanted to create a wine that cut away all the noise and looked and tasted like something people who don’t usually drink wine would want to try,” he said.

“I was involved in the tasting process and just knew from the first sip, everyone was gonna love it,” he continued. “I’m excited to be bringing Cali by Snoop to the UK and share this experience with my fans.”

The wine is distributed by Treasury Wine Estates which owns 19 Crimes. It is available to purchase via Asda and Tesco.
