Former UFC Fighter Rescues Woman From Brutal Attack Outside Nightclub
Incredible footage has been released showing a former UFC fighter coming to the rescue after a woman was brutally attacked outside a nightclub.
Dennis 'The Menace' Stojnic administered a heavy beating when he ran out of the club to save the woman from the clutches of the unnamed man.
The violent altercation was caught on the club's CCTV system and shows the woman exiting the building and walking through the car park.
Shortly after she is followed out by a man who runs over to her, grabs her hair and pulls her behind a car. Fortunately for the victim however, former heavyweight fighter quickly comes out to see what is going on, before landing several hefty blows on the attacker and pulling him to the ground - taking control of the situation.
The shocking incident happened last month outside the Dorian Gray nightclub in Sarajevo, Bosnia and Herzegovina, which the 38-year-old owns.
The Bosnian former Mixed Martial Artist last fought competitively in 2016, but said his protective nature quickly kicked in.
He told the Sun: "When I saw on CCTV that a huge man, even bigger than me, hit a woman with a punch to the head, I immediately ran outside and reacted that way to protect the woman from the abuser.
"I took control over him and with the security team I sent the woman to a taxi, but she did not want to report the case to the police.
"Unfortunately in our country violence against women occurs often.
"My duty as a man, citizen and then as an owner of a club is that everyone in the building feels safe.
"Especially women because they are someone's children, sisters, mothers."
The former athlete was beaten by Cain Velasquez and Stefan Struve during his brief UFC career.
He now runs his own nightclub in his hometown and said he has no qualms about coming to the rescue again, if a similar incident happens in the future.
