Harry Kane’s three children involved in multi-vehicle car crash

Harry Kane’s three children involved in multi-vehicle car crash

Three of Kane's children in the car accident are aged between three and seven.

Three of Harry Kane's children were taken to hospital as a precaution following a multi-car crash in Germany.

The incident took place on Monday (8 April) at 17:15 BST near Munich and Kane's current club Bayern.

Police said a Renault carrying four people turned into a junction and collided with an oncoming Mercedes carrying Kane's children. As a result, the Renault also skidded into a Land Rover.

The England captain's children, Louis, Vivienne, and Ivy, were then taken to hospital by ambulance as a precaution, but are now doing 'fine'.

A spokesperson for Kane said: "They are fine and only went to hospital for a routine check-up."

The 30-year-old has four children with his wife, Kate.

Baby Harry - who was born last August - was not in the vehicle, and neither was Kate.

Hohenschäftlarn Volunteer Fire Department chief Daniel Buck told BBC News: "The cars had a lot of damage - all of the cars.

""The first thing that we were seeing was a lot of injured people from all the cars.

"The good news was nobody had really strong injuries, more minor injuries, like they have pain in the neck from the head up, normally typical for a car accident.

"Thank God nobody was really injured.

"It was really lucky for all the people."

Police are continuing to investigate the crash.

Kane moved with his family to Germany after securing a move to Bayern Munich from Tottenham in a £104 million transfer in the Summer.

The forward was on target in the Champions League quarter-final first leg against Arsenal as the game ended in a 2-2 draw at the Emirates on Tuesday night (9 April).

Kane, who has scored 15 goals in 20 games against his former rivals, told CBS Sports: "I get quite a lot of penalties against Arsenal, especially at the Emirates.

"They kinda hand the opportunities to me. I enjoy these games. For Tottenham they were big games, the London derbies.

"I've had some good results and some bad results."

On going all the way in the Champions League this year after domestic disappointment, Kane said in the pre-match: “Look, it’s a competition that the club want to win.

“Not winning the Bundesliga this year is a tough pill to swallow and it makes this competition even more important but we know there’s still a long way to go.

“We have to find that togetherness, we have to find that team ethic where we grind out games because we haven’t done it enough this year.

“In the Champions League, we’ve done well, had a good campaign but we will need more of that if we want to go all the way to Wembley.”
