Two-weight undisputed champion Katie Taylor will once again take on unified featherweight champion Amanda “The Real Deal” Serrano this week, with all of Taylor’s super lightweight belts on the line this time.

The highly anticipated matchup was intended to run alongside the since-delayed Jake Paul v Mike Tyson fight on 20 July. And there’s only one way to watch the fights – both here in the UK and around the world – and that is on Netflix.

So, if you already have a Netflix subscription, you’ll be happy to know that there is no extra cost to watch the event. But there is a hack to essentially get Netflix for free, allowing you to watch the fight without having to pay for it like a traditional pay-per-view.

How to watch Katie Taylor v Amanda Serrano if you don’t have Netflix

If you don’t already have Netflix, there is a workaround to essentially get it as part of a package deal.

At the moment Sky is offering Sky Stream, with Sky TV, Sky Ultrafast 145Mb/s Broadband and Netflix included for just £39. And given that its Ultrafast broadband is usually £28 a month, for less than £10 you’ll also get access to Sky TV and exclusives such as the new season of House of the Dragon, plus Netflix for not much more.

So, if you were already thinking about switching your broadband or trying out Sky TV, doing so via this deal makes a lot of sense.

If you’d prefer to sign up for Netflix just to watch the fight, Netflix does have a budget-friendly option, costing less than a fiver a month. This means you could sign up for one month and only have to pay £4.99 to watch the bout.

It is worth mentioning that this option does include adverts but two devices in your household can watch Netflix at the same time, making it a good option if someone would prefer to watch something other than the boxing that evening.

This is the same Netflix subscription that you would get with the Sky package.

What to know about the fight

The last time Taylor and Serrano squared off back in 2022, they made history as the first-ever female fighters to headline Madison Square Garden.

This time they’ll be fighting out of AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas for their rematch, with both hoping to become the undisputed super lightweight champion.

Given that their last fight ended in a narrow split decision in favour of Taylor, it will be interesting to see who comes out on top this time.

The fight will be contested across 10, two-minute rounds. And viewers can tune in to watch Katie Taylor v Amanda Serrano on Netflix on Saturday 20 July.
