Worrying moment Jack Grealish nearly falls off Manchester City parade bus during chaotic scenes

Worrying moment Jack Grealish nearly falls off Manchester City parade bus during chaotic scenes

The incident happened during City's bus parade through Manchester.

Manchester City star Jack Grealish left fans concerned after taking a bit of a tumble during the team's bus parade.

Grealish, 28, was part of the City team who won the 2023/24 Premier League title, and he took to the streets of Manchester to celebrate their eighth win with his teammates on Sunday (26 May).

Of course, Grealish could be seen celebrating in his typical fashion - after all, this is the man who went on a 48 hour bender after City won the Champions League.

However, this time fans were left concerned for Grealish's safety, after he nearly fell from the parade bus twice during the celebrations.

In a video shared on X by a fan in attendance at the parade, Grealish could be seen dancing on the back of the bus alongside his teammate Rodri when the vehicle unexpectedly jolted forward.

Grealish clearly wasn't expecting the bus to move, as he immediately lost his footing and began to fall from overboard.

However Rodri was able to grab onto his arm and stop him from falling. This wasn't the first time Grealish came close to falling off the bus either, with teammate Jérémy Doku having to come to the midfielder's rescue earlier on in the route.

Talk about a close call!

Despite losing the FA cup final to rivals Manchester United the previous day, City enjoyed another successful Premier League campaign, beating second placed Arsenal to the title with a 3-1 over West Ham on the last day of the league.

City's win over West Ham saw them comfortably clinch the title with 91 points, meaning that Arsenal's at home win over Everton meant little as they finished with 89 points.

The win is Manchester City's eighth PL trophy, the sixth under current manager Pep Guardiola.

Grealish has clearly been in the party mood since City's latest league win, with the midfielder seen getting straight onto the sesh just moments after his team lifted the trophy last week (20 May).

During the on-pitch celebrations, Grealish struggled to set off a confetti cannon. "How do I do it?" Grealish can be heard asking moments before the cannon unexpectedly fired out a load of blue confetti.

As with most of Grealish's antics, the clip understandably went viral, with many users on social media left tickled by his reaction.
