The World Cup is in full swing and hopes are high that England could finally bring football home.

The Three Lions got their World Cup campaign off to a roaring start against Croatia last week, with a Harry Kane double and goals from Jude Bellingham and Marcus Rashford securing a thrilling 4-2 win.

Thomas Tuchel's side take on Ghana on Tuesday (23 June) in Boston, where some England fans have been criticised for their chants against Scotland.

Meanwhile, millions of England supporters will be cheering the team on from back home in scorching heat as a heatwave roasts the UK.

Those tuning into watch the match on BBC have been greeted by pundits Gabby Logan, Wayne Rooney, Micah Richards and Joe Hart - the latter of which is known for his striking tattoos.

While they may not be on full display in the BBC's coverage, the former England goalkeeper has a series of solid black bands tattooed down his right arm.

Joe Hart explains his tattoos

Hart shared a series of detailed images of his 'armour' tattoos on Instagram in 2019.

Thanking his tattoo artist Hanu Mantra, he said: "You are the man @hanumantra thank you, this is the only time of year I could take this on so I appreciate you fitting me in and smashing it!!

"I got my armour on now... let's see what's next.

"Not everyone's taste I understand that but this definitely represents me and thank you for making it happen."
