Moments before the sensational knockout, Logan Paul made a taunting comment to Anthony Joshua.
The influencer’s brother, Jake, faced the British boxer in the ring earlier this weekend in Miami. Defeated via knockout (but not until the sixth round, mind you), the YouTuber-turned-boxer was left with a broken jaw following Joshua’s powerful right-hand blow.
With both fighters getting a huge payday for the fight, it was hardly surprising to most people that AJ came out as the champ of their heavyweight mismatch. Although it’s been a bit of a surprise that it took him so long to get to that point, as both critics and fans have slammed the bout.
And in a moment the main cameras didn’t quite catch, it seems Logan was taunting Joshua over this.

He was in his brother’s corner for the big fight, having fought in the boxing ring professionally before – a loss against KSI back in November 2019. He’s also since wrestled in the WWE, becoming a member of The Vision stable and having once won the franchise’s United States Championship.
And footage has now surfaced of him showing his support for Jake and trying to get in Joshua’s head.
Calling him 'the old guy', Logan was spotted shouting to the Brit’s corner: “What are you going to do? You’ve lost every single one of them.
"You’ve lost every single round. This could be a legacy ender, AJ."
Well, it seems all that ended up doing was egging him on to win, as Joshua soon took down Jake with that brutal hit.
However, he did admit he didn’t quite have the ‘best performance’, as he said afterwards: “The end goal was to pin Jake Paul down and hurt him. It took a bit longer than expected, but the right hand finally found the destination."

That destination led to a broken jaw, of course, as the YouTuber went straight to the hospital after the fight, sharing a bloodied close-up of his wonky mouth and an X-ray to prove it.
He issued an update yesterday (20 December) to say he just ‘got out of surgery’ as he told fans alongside a drowsy-looking snap from a hospital bed: “Everything went smooth. Thanks for all the love. Lots of pain and stiffness. Gotta eat liquids for 7 days.
“S/o to the amazing team at Miami University hospital. Everyone was so gracious and caring."
He added: "Two titanium plates on each side. Some teeth removed.”
Jake also said he ‘had a blast’ and loves boxing as he praised his opponent: “Anthony’s a great fighter, I got my ass beat but that’s what this sport’s about.”
