iPhone 15 user issues internet warning as app is draining 25% of his battery

There seems to be yet another issue with the latest Apple series

Unless you've been living under a rock for the past few weeks now - you'll know that the brand-new iPhone 15 series has finally been launched and tech heads all over couldn't wait to get their mitts on Apple's latest drop.

Apple officially announced the launch of the eagerly-anticipated iPhone 15 series complete with a brand-new set of features a few weeks back (12 September), but it's clear that not everyone is 100 percent happy with all of them.

One iPhone 15 user has since issued the internet with a warning after claiming one particular app was draining 25% of his battery.

While many are loving their latest gadget - it's no secret that iPhone 15 users all over have been quick to share their issues with the costly bit of tech.

From users claiming they've been 'robbed' as a new feature on the devices has already been on Android for years now to others complaining over facing an extra £20 charge once charging ports are swapped over - it's clear people haven't held back with their opinions on the snazzy new devices.

One owner of the latest Apple series, Aaron Zollo, took to X, formerly Twitter, to open up about his 'experience' of the iPhone 15 Pro Max 'so far'.

While Zollo - who is a self-declared 'iOS and Android Beta historian' - had a handful of positive notes, including 'zero overheating issues and barely warm' as well as the 'design and feel' being 'great' - the tech head did have one particular issue with the device's battery.

"Battery life is the same as my 14 pro max (terrible). Safari is using 25% of the battery for some reason and I don't even have any web pages open."

With that said, however, Zollo added that his experience with the gizmo has been 'good so far overall'.

It seemed many other agreed with Zollo about the battery issues with one Twitter user replying: "Same, battery life on mine has been the same if not worse than the 14 Pro Max."

A second echoed: "The battery on my 15 Pro Max is worse than the one on my 14 Pro Max. Like a lot worse."

"The battery for the first like 3 days was awesome then I have to charge it 2-3 times a day!" revealed a third. "Awful!"

Others, however, seemingly had no issues with their battery life.

"Surprised about battery," penned one Twitter user, "my 14 Pro Max was awful but this one is great!"

Another chimed in: "Battery life with 15 Pro Max has been great for me thus far, but I also had great battery longevity with my 14 Pro Max."

A final Twitter user added what I'm sure we've all been thinking ever since the reviews came out for the latest Apple device.

They hit out: "It’s crazy how so many people have different experiences with the same phone running the same software version."

Crazy is correct.

Apple's official website boasts a 'battery life that’s positively Pro' with the new models, adding: "Even with so many advanced new features, iPhone 15 Pro still gives you amazing all‑day battery life."
