MrBeast has revealed how much he made after sharing his first ever full video to X.

The YouTuber - whose real name is Jimmy Donaldson - had previously snubbed X but made a U-turn after admitting that he was ‘curious’ to find out how much he’d made on the platform.

Despite X owner Elon Musk - who is a friend of MrBeast - urging him to give it a go, the YouTuber had previously resisted sharing his full content on the site because he didn’t think it would bring in enough money to cover the cost of his famously eye-wateringly expensive videos.

In response to Musk encouraging him to upload a full video to his X account back in December, MrBeast said: “My videos cost millions to make and even if they got a billion views on X it wouldn’t fund a fraction of it :/.

“I’m down though to test stuff once monetization is really cranking!”

X’s ad-revenue-sharing was one of a raft of changes Musk brought into the platform last year - as the name suggests it means that content creators are given a share of revenue from ads that are seen in the replies to their posts.

Despite his initial reluctance, MrBeast appeared to have a change of heart last week and revealed he would be re-uploading his video $1 vs $100,000,000 Car! which he initially posted to YouTube in September, where it’s had more than 200 million views.

In a post on X, he wrote: "I'm curious how much ad revenue a video on X would make so I'm reuploading this to test it. Will share ad rev next week.”

And it looks like his curiosity was rewarded, as in a new update from MrBeast he’s shared: “MY FIRST X VIDEO MADE OVER $250,000!”

For us Brits, that equates to around £196,800.

The YouTuber shared how much he made off the upload.

But it seems that he’s still not convinced by the figures, as he added: “But it’s a bit of a facade. Advertisers saw the attention it was getting and bought ads on my video (I think) and thus my revenue per view is prob higher than what you’d experience.”

In typical MrBeast fashion, he’s decided to give away the ad-revenue he pulled in for the video to his fans.

“I’m gonna give 10 random people that repost this and follow me $25,000 for fun (the $250,000 my X video made),” he wrote.

“I’ll pick the winners in 72 hours.”

Right, I’m just off to X to repost MrBeast’s post - see you all there.
