A boxer who appeared to attack Tommy Robinson at an influencer event in Ireland has spoken out and claimed that he was just following the script.
An influencer event at the Hub in Kilkenny was hosting a fight between Mo Deen and someone calling himself MrTikTokUK as the undercard to a headline bout between rappers Russ Millions and Kirky.
Deen won his fight with a stoppage victory, but shortly afterwards promoters suggested that he might next be put up against former English Defence League leader Tommy Robinson, real name Stephen Yaxley Lennon, who appeared to taunt him with a book which had 'the grooming gang cover up' written on it.
Deen stepped out of the ring and then jumped over the announcer's desk where he appeared to aim a flying kick at Robinson, with security pulling the two of them apart.

It sparked a mass brawl at the event, and not even the best efforts of influencer HSTikkyTokky, real name Harrison Sullivan, could bring them back together.

The event was prematurely called off due to the chaos.
Speaking afterwards, Deen released a statement saying he'd spoken from a locked room while 'the whole place is surrounded' and insisting that he'd done as he was told.
He said: "I just want to say this and make this clear to every single person in the UK and outside the UK. All right. I'm telling you right now, I'm not trying to cause problems, this is like WWE.
"They said, 'listen, this is what this situation is'. I followed the scripts. I'm getting death threats. Trying to kill me, what the hell? I don't know about this. I just know this is this is what we have to do.
"What's the problem? Why Why is everyone trying to kill me right now? I don't know what's going on. This is a message to all of Tommy supporters, Elon Musk, whoever gangs, whatever you are.
"I just followed the script that they told me they agreed with. So what's everyone trying to attack me for? You know what I'm trying to say? This is what they've told me. Tommy's agreed with it. They've agreed with it. I followed it."
He kept insisting he was 'just following the script' and pleaded with Elon Musk 'don't put hits on me bro', before saying that he loved the UK 'more than anything' and that he 'loves the queen', saying he prayed for her when she died.
"I'm not ever beefing no one. This is just they told me to do this," he insisted in his statement after the fight.
