Glastonbury Festival registration error causes panic before tonight's ticket release

Glastonbury Festival registration error causes panic before tonight's ticket release

You would be livid

The countdown is on until tickets finally go on sale for Glastonbury 2024.

Every year, it's a dog fight to get tickets for the iconic festival, with hundreds of thousands of people trying desperately to get theirs.

But while many will succeed in that endeavour tonight (16 November), securing their place at the biggest festival on Earth, many will be left bereft.

Others, however, won't even get the chance to stand in the lengthy virtual queue, because their registration details have mysteriously disappeared.

Ahead of the sale for next year's festival, everyone who had previously registered for the event were told to reconfirm their details by 30th October.

But despite following the pretty clear instruction, some would-be revellers have now discovered today that their registrations have been deleted.

Speaking to LADbible, one distraught festival goer said: "I’m absolutely devastated, I had organised my entire friendship group to get them to retain their registrations early on in the process, and now I’m going to be the only one left out of all the fun.

"It seems that other Glasto fans are in the same boat, which is really disappointing, especially since they pushed the sales back to try and fix the issues.

"I really hope this gets resolved for everyone who's in this situation”

Taking to Twitter, another person said: "Despite following separate instructions and alerts and confirming my registration more than once (with emails reflecting this) - @seetickets have deleted my @glastonbury registration and looks like what was probably the last Glasto I could go to is now not happening :) yaaay xox."

"@glastonbury absolute joke, had emails to confirm my registration and now my registration cannot be found!" put someone else.

LADbible has contacted Glastonbury Festival for comment.
