Amazon Warehouse Worker Pleads With Customers To Check For Lost Engagement Ring

A woman who works at an Amazon warehouse has issued a nationwide plea for customers to check their packages and find her engagement ring.

Jasmine Paget, 18, was left devastated when she was finishing her shift in the packaging department and noticed her diamond engagement ring was missing.

Jasmine, who got engaged to her fiancé Josh Mannings on Valentine's Day, reckons the ring may have fallen into one of the hundreds of parcels she packed up on Saturday 6 June and is now urging anyone who has ordered from Amazon to check for her missing ring.

After spotting that the ring was missing, Jasmine, who lives in Swansea, launched an appeal on social media which has since been shared thousands of times - but so far the ring has not been found.

Jasmine said: "I reckon I lost the ring in the last hour of my shift as I do tend to glance down to admire it now and then and when I looked down this time, it was just gone.

"I realised the ring had disappeared at 5.50pm so it was right at the end of my shift.

"I was so gutted. I felt my heart in my stomach, I started crying and just went to my managers to find out if there's any way they could find it.

"It definitely went into a parcel, we just can't tell what one which is so frustrating!

"I roughly pack 160 packages an hour and I package up such a wide variety of parcels so it could be in any type of parcel.

"Thankfully, Josh has been so understanding! He's just made a big joke out of it to keep my hopes up.

"The response on social media has been incredible and we're just trying to stay positive and hope that somebody finds it!"

Speaking to the Evening Standard, Josh said: "Jas is upset about it, but I've tried giving her a laugh about it so she isn't upset about it. It's obviously got a lot of sentimental value to us, but she's so upset.

"Hopefully it will come back. We've heard stories about how someone sent a ring back before, so hopefully if someone does receive it, they do have the heart to sent it back."

And if you happen to have received a parcel from Amazon, the ring in question features one central diamond on a silver band with small diamonds around the main stone.
