Panicked concert goers are selling their tickets after a weather storm has hit Leeds Festival harder than expected.

After all, it wouldn't be a bank holiday in the UK without s**tty weather.

Now, it seems Storm Lilian has decided to grace us with winds up to 80mph across northern parts of England and Wales on Friday (23 August).

And Leeds Festival announced earlier today that both the BBC Radio 1 Stage and Aux Stage have been closed until tomorrow.

Taking to X, people have sharing videos of their tents flying all over the place as festival goers now trying to get rid of their tickets.

"I’m selling 3x Leeds Fest Sunday tickets pls dm x #ticketfairy #leedsfestival #leedsfesttickets," one person tweeted, as a second added: "Someone please buy my Leeds Fest ticket for today ill do £100 I'm begging."

Another commented: "2x Leeds Festival tickets + Early entry for sale. Send a dm if interested #leedsfest."

Someone else also said: "Selling x2 weekend Leeds Fest tickets vvv cheap just want them gone!!!"

This comes after concert organisers wrote on social media: "We can see an end in sight to the high winds.

“We definitely won’t be opening the arena at 11am, but we are targeting as soon as possible after that and we will update you further.

“However, we have definitely lost the BBC Radio 1 stage today, and there will be no performances on it.

“We have also lost the Aux stage today, and there will be no performances on it.

“We remain hopeful that everything else will continue as planned and that we will still have an amazing weekend. Please await further information.”

In an update this afternoon, the organisers added: "It’s been a tough morning but we are aiming to open the arena between 1.45pm and 2pm, with the first live act, Reneé Rapp, on the main stage at 3.10pm as per the schedule

"Jaguar will perform on the Chevron stage at 2.25pm. The BBC Radio 1 & Aux stage will remain closed for today, and the BBC Introducing Stage will continue as normal from around 3pm."

The headliners for Leeds Festival 2024 include Blink-182, Lana Del Rey, and Liam Gallagher.

Meanwhile, Gallagher is expected to perform a special set celebrating the 30th anniversary of Oasis' debut album Definitely Maybe.

Other acts include Gerry Cinnamon, Catfish and the Bottlemen, Fred Again.., and Skrillex.
