Terrifying detail hen party spotted in image after taking photos seconds apart

Can you spot it?

I'm sure a lot of women see more than a few frightful sights while pouring over the photos from their hen do, but this bride-to-be really got a shock when she had a look through hers.

Her nearest and dearest had all headed up to a remote estate in Scotland to celebrate her final phase of freedom when they all gathered to take a few group shots by the water, only to realise they weren't exactly alone out there.

Sadly, it wasn't a hunky stripper waiting in the wings waiting to give the woman a decent send-off, but rather a really creepy photobomber who apparently has the ability to teleport.

So, let's get into the curious case of the mystery party crasher who terrified this bride tribe so much that they ended up cancelling the rest of their trip and running for the hills.

The group of ten had travelled to a rural estate in Argyll and Bute for the weekend to celebrate the woman's upcoming nuptials and all gathered in front of a lake to take some pictures.

The hen party seemed to be really getting in the swing of things, with the ladies seen clutching cutouts of the couples faces as they posed - and everything seemed to be above board.

But when they took a second snap, that celebratory atmosphere soon took a nosedive.

Despite taking the next image just moments after the first, there was a drastic difference between them both.

Go on, have a quick game of spot the difference...and see how long it takes you to spot that shadowy figure who suddenly pops up from behind a tree stump.

In something which sounds straight out of a classic horror film, the women realised that someone had snuck in the back of their snap without any of them noticing - which begs the question, where on earth did they come from?

Well, there is one possible explanation for how the dark-haired photobomber ended up at the lake alongside the bachelorette party, which will probably help you understand why the group hightailed it out of there.

There's something of an urban legend, known as 'The Blue Boy', about the estate they were staying at in Scotland.

The unnerving tale inspired the 1994 film of the same name, starring Emma Thompson, which follows a couple who are forced to deal with some very strange events while spending the weekend at a secluded loch.

Sound familiar, hey hens?

Anyway, Thompson's character is informed that a young boy drowned in the loch a century earlier and she becomes quite obsessed with the case, before she eventually starts seeing him appear in the water.

According to The Blue Boy screenwriter Paul Murton, the flick was based on the story of a four-year-old boy who drowned in Loch Eck, which he first heard from a hotelier.

He told The Herald in 1994: "I was talking to the hotelier about it and he mentioned The Blue Boy.

"This, he said, was a young child who had been on holiday with his parents in the hotel and he had been sleepwalking during the night. He had strayed outside, fallen into the loch, and drowned. When they found his body it was blue with the cold.

"Hotel staff had noticed that things like cutlery and plates were often out of place for no apparent reason - perhaps more sinister than that was the fact that they sometimes found wet footprints upstairs in the corridor."

You might think the hen party might have just been Photoshop whizzes who wanted to play a silly supernatural prank while enjoying the Scottish countryside, but still, you just can't deny - that's one creepy photobomber.
