People are convinced they’ve spotted a ‘glitch in the Matrix’ as woman disappears on live TV

People have been left baffled after watching a woman appear to completely vanish during a live TV broadcast.

Footage of an interview aired by the Argentine channel TN has been going viral on social media, as people can't get their head around where she disappears to.

According to these lot, the most likely explanation is that it was some kind of 'glitch in the matrix' - but others reckon there's a simpler reason behind her supposed vanishing act.

A reporter from Todo Noticias (TN) was stood onboard the ARA Libertad as it made its return to Buenos Aries, Argentina, after spending more than five months at sea.

Each year, the ship becomes a floating classroom as a host of cadets head out on a 'training voyage', which promises to improve their maritime and nautical knowledge.

There was some emotional scenes as the trainees and higher-ranking personnel who have called the vessel home since 11 April reunited with their families on Saturday (19 September).

Two corporals - José María Báez and Corporal Sando Flores - met their children for the first time upon their return, as their partner's had given birth during the annual training voyage.

But it's another sailor who has stolen the spotlight, due to her apparently boasting the ability to vanish into thin air.

While chatting away to a reporter from broadcaster TN during the live TV segment, the woman can be seen smiling broadly as she discussed the return of the ARA Libertad.

After wrapping up the chat, she then bids the journalist farewell and walks behind him as she is seemingly heading across the deck - before she then completely disappears.

Even when the camera pans to a wider angle, the woman is no where to be seen.

The strange footage sparked a lot of speculation online, as people couldn't comprehend how she had somehow evaporated.

Inevitably, there were some wild theories being shared.

One person said: "I can't stop watching it. It blows my mind. Is it a ghost? Is it a glitch in the matrix? What the hell is this? Go look up the girl to see if we find out she's been dead for 100 years."

Another added: "Either there’s a perfectly normal explanation we haven’t spotted yet, or the matrix really did lag for a second."

A third added: "I can't believe that A GLITCH IN THE MATRIX WENT LIVE and was caught on camera. I can't find an explanation."

But some people quickly rubbished this idea, instead suggesting that the woman had actually expertly avoided ending up in the background of the rest of TN's coverage.

"She changed direction to the left when she noticed the camera is going to the right," one X user pointed out.

Another concurred, saying: "She started walking away then turned around and went the other way. The reporters body covered it. This ain’t the matrix."

While a third joked: "Sharp left turn or teleportation? Hmmmm..."

So, it seems that this is the most likely explanation for the disappearing woman filmed on the ARA Libertad, lads.
