Savvy Holidaymaker Shares Plug Adapter Hack That Will Save Your Summer Holiday

Trying to decide what to take with you on holiday is tough. A large part of that stress is trying to fit enough plug adapters into your suitcase to keep all your various gadgets charged for the duration of your sojourn.

Well, one savvy holidaymaker may have just found the solution to this age-old dilemma, after she shared an incredibly simple life hack that will put an end to that headache once and for all.

Sasha, from Nottingham, revealed that rather than filling her case with dozens of the things, she just brings one extension lead.

Mind. Blown.

She wrote online: "Am I the only person who takes an extension lead on holidays instead of taking a dozen plug adaptors?" (sic)

They do say the most simple ideas are the best and Sasha has surely hit the nail on the head with this neat little trick.

Since she posted her tweet, it has been liked more than 9,000 times and received more than 1,000 retweets.

Hundreds of people have since commented on the post thanking Sasha for bringing this into their lives.

One person wrote: "This legit has just blown my mind! Why have I never thought of this."

Tagging her mate into the comment, a second said: "We are doing this on holiday because I'm sick of never having enough plug sockets near the mirror."

A third user put: "This is genius! I'll be doing this from now o. "To be honest I can't believe I didn't ever think of this before."

While a fourth person commented: "This is such a good idea! Get one packed in those suitcases for next week!"

"I only started doing this few years ago - can't believe I'd never thought of it before," another.

Of course, Sasha wasn't the first person to think of the nifty travel tip, with some saying how they had been doing it for ages.

One smug traveller said: "Done this since the 90s - you only need one adaptor that way. (sic) Obviously everyone else does this too, right?"

"We have always done this on holiday, we take one for us and one for the kids and it saves so many arguments," one woman said.

While a third forward thinking person commented: "Yes - we have one with built in USB chargers. Don't forget to take your kettle and teabags too."
