Cops caught the Lamborghini Aventador being driven in 'an anti-social manner' on the A1 during the early hours of the morning.

The driver then told officers that the car wasn't taxed because it was 'too expensive'.

Bedfordshire, Cambridgeshire and Hertfordshire (BCH) Road Policing Unit said the Italian-made motor was stopped because the driver had already been warned twice about causing 'alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public'.

In a tweet, the BCH Road Policing Unit said: "Vehicle was already subject to 2 x S59 warnings [likely to cause alarm, distress or annoyance to members of the public], but the driver decided to drive in an anti-social manner en route to a car meet.

"Seized under S60 and it's also untaxed as it's too expensive...driver walking home in tears."

Meanwhile, in Birmingham, police have recovered a car belonging to Tom Cruise's bodyguard after it was stolen while parked outside the Grand Hotel last Tuesday (24 August).

According to The Sun, the BMW X7 was found behind a fried chicken takeaway around three miles away from the hotel.

A spokesperson for West Midlands Police said: "CCTV enquiries have been made in the area the car was recovered from. Inquiries are ongoing."

A police spokesperson previously said: "We received a report of a BMW X7 stolen from Church Street, Birmingham in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

"The car was recovered a short time later in Smethwick. CCTV enquiries have been made in the area that the car was recovered from. Inquiries are ongoing."

Cruise has been in the city filming Mission: Impossible 7.

His presence has caused a bit of stir with local residents as he's been seen out and about filming.

He also popped into Asha's curry house, where he treated himself to two chicken tikka masalas.

Cruise was said to be so delighted with the dish, that after eating one he immediately reordered himself another.

That's how to live life.
