Barack Obama has spoken out about Area 51 and the existence of aliens in a revealing new interview.
The site, which is a highly classified United States Air Force facility, is located at Groom Lake in the Nevada Desert, around 83 miles away from Las Vegas.
Area 51 has long been the subject of conspiracy theories, with people accusing the government of using it for 'secret' projects.
One popular theory has been about UFOs and extraterrestrials allegedly being kept at the facility - with some even believing they've spotted 'alien technology' in the area on Google Maps.

And who can forget the viral 'Storm Area 51' plan in 2019?
However, Obama has now set the record straight once and for all.

When asked if aliens are 'real' by podcaster Brian Tyler Cohen, the former president said: "They’re real, but I haven’t seen them, and they’re not being kept in, what is it...
"Area 51. There’s no underground facility, unless there’s this enormous conspiracy, and they hid it from the president of the United States."
Cohen then asked: "What was the first question you wanted answered when you became president?"
Obama joked: "Where are the aliens?"
Area 51 is used for testing experimental military aircraft and reconnaissance technology, but the site is heavily guarded and completely off limits to the public.
It is thought that workers are transported to Area 51 each day via private jets from McCarran International Airport in Las Vegas.
During Obama's interview with Cohen, he also broke his silence on the racist video shared to President Donald Trump's Truth Social account which saw the Obamas depicted as apes.
The clip focused on the 2020 election and the fraud conspiracy claims surrounding it.
It was posted earlier this month and sparked outrage, but has since been removed from Trump's feed. The White House said that a staffer had 'erroneously' made the post.

"First of all, I think it's important to recognise that the majority of the American people find this behaviour deeply troubling," Obama said.
"It is true that it gets attention. It's true that it's a distraction. You meet people, they still believe in decency, courtesy, kindness, and there's this sort of clown show that's happening in social media and on television."
He added: "And what is true is that there doesn't seem to be any shame about this among people who used to feel like you had to have some sort of decorum and a sense of propriety and respect for the office, right?
"That's been lost."
Many slammed Trump for his 'unacceptable behaviour' after the video gained attention on social media.
The president responded to the backlash, but did not apologise as he told reporters that he 'didn’t make a mistake'.
