Staggering combined wealth of all guests sat at Trump’s state dinner table in viral photo
Those who earned a seat on the top table at Donald Trump's state dinner all had one thing in common - they are worth a fortune.
If there was ever a table that you had to bring something too, this must be it, as it featured some of the wealthiest and lucrative figures in the world.
Trump hosted a lavish state dinner at the White House on Thursday (24 September) in honour of Chinese President Xi Jinping, and apparently decided to take the opportunity to show off some of his wealthy associates.
The US President, 80, rolled out the red carpet for Xi and his wife Peng Liyuan for their three-day state visit this week.

It appears that the Chinese leader has had a whale of a time in Washington, as he showered compliments on Trump via an interpreter over tea in the Red Room.
"The highest courtesies, the most meticulous arrangements," Xi said. "This visit is very successful, and we also feel very satisfied."
Trump returned the compliment, saying of his time hosting his Chinese counterpart: "We’ve had a tremendous visit from two spectacular people, and we really enjoyed it, and I think we’ve made tremendous strides.
"We’ve made great strides, very positive for both countries."
On Thursday, the pair got all dolled up for a black-tie dinner at the White House and a number of prominent names were on the guest list.
Tech tycoons such as OpenAI boss Sam Altman and Meta chief Mark Zuckerberg were in attendance. And although these two are also worth billions, they didn't bag a spot on Trump's coveted table.
Instead, the commander-in-chief chose quite the bunch to keep him company alongside Xi, Liyuan and his wife Melania.
Elon Musk, the richest man on the planet with an estimated net worth of $926 billion, was seated on Trump's table alongside Jensen Huang and his wife Lori.
As the CEO of tech company Nvidia, Huang is thought to be worth a whopping $194.5 billion, according to Forbes.
The CEO of Advanced Micro Devices, Lisa Su, joined them, as did former Apple CEO Tim Cook.
Su is estimated to be worth $3.5 billion, while Cook is believed to be worth $3.1 billion.
Of course we can't forget Trump, who is believed to be worth approximately $7 billion.
And according to Forbes, if you tot all these lot up together, the entire table is worth a staggering $1.13 trillion.
Musk did most of the heavy lifting, but it's still a hell of a huge number - and the snap of the ridiculously wealthy dinner guests has been going viral online.
Xi said farewell to Washington on Friday, declaring that he intends to have at least two more meetings with Trump before the year is out.
