FBI set to release Jeffrey Epstein video that 'proves' how he really died

The nature of Epstein's death in prison fuelled a number of conspiracy theories

The FBI Deputy Director has claimed that he has proof of the cause of Jeffrey Epstein's death.

Financier and businessman Epstein was accused of sex trafficking young girls, and killed himself while in custody.

Dan Bongino was once a US Secret Service agent, though he is now the Deputy Director of the FBI.

While former New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani claimed that 'there's a reason' that the Epstein files haven't been made available to the public, Bongino has now stated that they will release the video that 'proves' how the 66-year-old died.

It's being released in an attempt to hush rumours from some that claim that his death could have been an orchestrated killing, with conspiracy theorists running with the notion in recent times.

Speaking in an interview, Bongino left no stone unturned.

Speaking to Fox & Friends, he claimed: “I say to people, if you have a tip, let us know, but there’s no DNA, there’s no audio, there’s no fingerprints, there’s no suspects, there’s no accomplices, there’s no tips, there is nothing.

“If you have it, I’m happy to see it.”

“There’s video clear as day,” he said, going on: “He’s the only person in there and the only person coming out. You can see it.”

FBI Director Kash Patel also confirmed that Epstein took his own life, vowing to release more information about the case.

He stated: “We are diligently working on that.

“It takes time to go through years of investigations.”

Former conservative political commentator Bongino claimed that Epstein was the only person who entered the New York jail cell, before being found dead on 10 August 2019.

Epstein was awaiting trial on his sex trafficking charges and was said to have a book full of celebrity names and people of power who were involved in his crimes.

President Donald Trump claimed that he would release documents related to Epstein when he entered office, with Attorney General Pam Bondi releasing 'phase one' of the files earlier this year.

Bongino added in his statement: "When you look at the video - and we will release, that's what's taken a while on this. We are working on cleaning it up to make sure you have an enhanced [view]."

"We're going to give the original, so you don't think there were any shenanigans. You're going to see there's no one there but him," he claimed.

In the past, Bongino himself has theorised about the former financier's sudden passing, though in February, he said that he was 'starting to hear some things' about the Jeffrey Epstein files.
