Hurdles already looks hard enough for most of us but one US athlete managed to win his 400m race last week despite a pretty extensive wardrobe malfunction.
Chris Robinson, 24, was competing at the Ostrava Golden Spike meet at the Metsky Stadium in Czech Republic late last month when he suffered every lad's nightmare of his penis popping out of his shorts as he launched himself over the hurdles.
Although other athletes who have suffered the same unfortunate fate have sacrificed the race for their own privacy, Robinson was unfazed and went on to win the race, despite regularly having to readjust his crown jewels.
In fact, the time of 48.05 was just one tenth of a second of the American athlete's personal best, so maybe he will try swinging a bit more loose at future events to try and set himself a new record, with the added bonus that it might distract his fellow competitors.
Chris Robinson didn't let his wardrobe cock-up affect the race (World Athletics) The commentators applauded his amazing efforts, saying: "Congratulations to Chris Robinson for battling a problem that does emerge occasionally, various parts of their equipment failure can make it very awkward.
"But that was a stunning effort to be out in front, very nearly a personal best with those adjustments going on.
"Constant man-handling going on with the left hand, but boy he just stayed in front, dipping at the line and getting home in the lead."
Fortunately, he didn't get too over-excited and after brimming with confidence during the race, it's easy to see why certain companies might want to make him the new face, or other body part, of their brand.
It seems as if the young runner is open to the idea of becoming an underwear model after two separate clothing companies approached the athlete.
Chris is reportedly keen to speak with the underwear brands (STR/NurPhoto via Getty Images) According to TMZ, Shinesty has contacted Robinson to see whether he will model their new 'Magnum Pouch Ball Hammock' underwear.
The front pocket of the undies is supposedly 47 per cent larger the average, which should give Robinson the space he needs to freely jump hurdles without fretting about his johnson jumping out for everyone to see.
He has reportedly agreed to speak with Shinesty but they face competition from Krakatoa, who are also keen on sending the athlete a care package to better look after his package.
Company CEO Alex Bortoluzzi told TMZ: "We have a special pouch in front, to keep things separated, and not slapping around."
While Robinson will no doubt be happy with his victory and the offers that have followed, he's probably happy to stick to hurdling rather than helicoptering in future races.
