Police have provided an update after the body of a teenager was found in a Tesla registered to a singer named d4vd.
The American artist, whose real name is David Anthony Burke, has been cooperating with authorities in LA after human remains were found in his car while he was on tour.
The body of Celeste Rivas Hernandez was discovered in his vehicle's front trunk on 8 September 2025, a day before her 15th Birthday.
Her decomposed body was found in a Tesla with a Texas registration plate in a Hollywood tow lot.

Hernandez, from Lake Elsinore in California, was 13 when she went missing, and was last seen on 5 April 2024, according to a missing person flyer.
The remains were of a 5ft 2in tall (157cm) woman with wavy black hair, wearing a tube top and black leggings.
D4vd, 20, has not been named as a suspect in the case.
He is known on TikTok for songs 'Here with Me' and 'One More Dance' following the release of his 2025 album.

In an update, the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) said her body had likely been rotting for 'several weeks' before it was found.
"We know that the Tesla had been parked at the location from which it was towed for several weeks, so it is very likely Celeste Rivas Hernandez had been dead for several weeks prior to her body being discovered," LAPD Captain Scot M. Williams told People.

"The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not determined a cause or manner of her death, so we don't know for sure if anyone has any criminal culpability for her death beyond the concealment of her dead body."
The commanding officer also noted that 'we know for sure that Celeste Rivas Hernandez died and someone placed her body in the front trunk area of David Burke's [d4vd's legal name] Tesla'.

As reported by the Los Angeles Times, Hernandez allegedly had a similar-looking 'Shhh' tattoo on her right index finger to the one D4vd has.
Fans have been dissecting the lyrics of his songs which were reportedly 'leaked' and uploaded to SoundCloud, and according to The Sun, one is titled 'Celeste'.
However, Williams said: "As far as their relationship, it would be premature for me to say anything."
Although he insisted that the force are 'looking into everything'.
"D4vd has been informed about what's happened. And, although he is still out on tour, he is fully cooperating with the authorities," a spokesperson for the singer said before his tour dates were seemingly cancelled.
